How to Expedite Obtaining your driver's license or State ID card:

1. Allow 24-hours after the picture has been taken at DPS.
2. Call (512) 424-2000 and press "0" for the operator.
3. Request the Driver's License Issuance Department and make your request.
4. They will explain what is required.
