Informer - Feature Article


As we reported last month, CSC/TC’s new Web site is fast becoming a reality and several elements of it are already installed. What you will find when you visit www.csctc.org is a dynamic, interactive way to get up-to-the-minute safety information as well as information about what’s happening here at CSC/TC. Among the features of csctc.org is our monthly calendar set up so that you can access it by the month and also for the entire year. We are especially pleased that we are now able to update the calendar, if need be, on a daily basis so that you will be instantly aware of any schedule changes or additions. There is also an area on the website that features "The Informer", and because there are no space constraints, we are able to offer a wider variety of topics in depth that we feel are of benefit to our members. The online "Informer" will be interactive: you will be able to click from areas of interest		to further or related information. You will even be able to print a copy of anything that interests you if you so desire. One thing we need from you is your email address, because among the features of the Web site is an electronic post office, where we can send you the most timely information about topics and events of importance. We are currently building an email database that will allow us to send out and receive such things as registration forms or special announcements . The goal is to contain cost and make the best use of your time. Please take a moment to look at the Web site, and let us know if there are specific things you would find useful to include.
